Goals for Danish
Goals level 1
At the end of year 1 a student of Danish can:
- Presenting yourself (name, origin, occupation, and family)
- Greeting and small talk (how are you?, weather, sports, presenting excuses)
- Shopping and going-out (finding your way, eat and drink, invitation and plans (eg weekend plans)
Subcategories to these goals are:
- Alphabet
- Numbers
- Time (clock, day, month)
- Verbs (modals, present and past)
- Asking for specifications and repetition in order to clarifying/understanding
- Danish geography as well as dos and don´ts
Goals level 2
At the end of year 2 a student of Danish can:
- Understand and discuss some easy topics - using his or her own vocabulary
- Discuss pro and against something
- Know of everyday life in Denmark (culture, society, national holidays, politics etc.)
- Understand and distract information from newspapers
- Using present, future and past tense
Goals level 3
At the end of year 3 a Danish student can:
- Participate in a Danish (easy) conversation
- Write a Danish CV and motivation letter
- Answer a phone call, understand the purpose and take a message on the phone
- Visit a doctor (easy language)
- Better understand newspapers and novels in Danish
