Goals for level 1 in FinnishThe student is introduced to the main characteristics of the Finnish language. He is learning to exchange simple information about himself and people or objects around him, and he is aware of ordinary Finnish communication habits and attitudes. He also acquires information about Finland and the Finns on a general level. At the end of the first level the student will be able to: 1. Greet people and introduce himself in Finnish 2.
