The Nordic way of teaching

Our method of teaching is the Nordic way , which means that we emphasise the importance of conversation in our language courses. Our method is to engage the students in activities promoting oral proficiency and in this way make sure our students achieve their goals. We find the connection between the culture of a country and the language to be essential in understanding the nuances of a language and learning it. Therefore, all our teachers are native speakers, which give our students possibility to gain an insight in the country of their interest.

We use the Common European Framwork(CEF) as a reference and level indicator at the Scandinavian Language School.
CEF aims to be a method for teaching and the CEF reference levels are becoming widely accepted as the standard for grading an individual's language proficiency in all the european languages.
