The Scandinavian Language School is a school for adults wanting to learn a Scandinavian language. Our mission is to bring Scandinavians and citizens in the Benelux closer together by making them familiar with each other’s languages and cultures.

Cancellation and refunds
In case of cancellation up to 10 days prior to the start of the course, the course fee is refunded.
In case of cancellation or withdrawal after the course starts, no refund can be issued.
Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
If The Scandinavian Language School cancels a course, which a student has already paid for, the full course fee will be reimbursed.
The contractually binding fee is the fee stated in the current price list at the time of application.
Change of schedule
The school can change the schedule 1 week prior to the starting date, but students are allowed to get 100 % refund if they are not able to participate because of the change.
Changes made by the teacher
In case of illness, the teacher is in charge of giving notice to the students. The notice should be given at least 2 hours before class.
The teacher and students can in cooperation arrange for changes if needed.
Exams & Diplomas
It is up to the teacher to decide whether there will be a test/exam at the end of the course. Provided that the student has attended 65 % of the lessons, upon request, The Scandinavian Language School can issue a certificate of participation at the end of a course.
The certificate is not an official diploma.
Cancellation – Private lessons
If a student wishes to cancel a private lesson they have to notify the teacher minimum 24 hours before the lesson takes place. If a student is delayed, he has to inform the teacher. If the delay is 15 minutes or more, and the student does not contact the teacher, the time will be deducted from the lesson and the lesson will not be refunded.
If the student is delayed 5-15 min, he will still receive the full 60 min of teaching. However, the student is expected to call the teacher if the delay is more than 10 min.
If a student does not show for a scheduled private lesson, the student is still expected to pay for the lesson.
