Goals for Swedish
Goals for level 1
At the end of year one the student must be able to:
Introduce himself in Swedish
Communicate with native speakers when eating out, booking a hotel or while buying food.

tell time, know the weight, to tell the names of the family, to know birthdays
Knowledge of :
- Allemansretten
- Nobel prize day
- Lucia
- Midsummer
- A little bit about kings and famous authors
Goals level 2
At the end of year 2 the student can:
Discuss and understand some easy topics with his own words - easy vocabulary
Express his opinions - for and against - easy vocabulary
Knowledge of:
Political life and order (parliament and elections, ministries government)
Everyday life in Sweden - culture choc - what is different from other European countries
Swedish newspapers
Swedish companies in and outside Sweden
Internationally known Swedish persons
Use presens , preteritum and future correctly in grammar
Goals level 3
At the end of year 3 the student can:
Participate in a Swedish conversation
Create a CV - and write an application letter in Swedish(very easy words translated from English)
Write a letter as an invitation
Bargain in shopping, achieving a "good" deal
Understand and order - looking into a menu in Swedish at a restaurant
Answering a phone call and take a message on the phone
When visiting a doctor in Sweden be able to talk to him(easy language)
