Levels
We offer 3 levels ranging from beginner to intermediate. The content of each level is described below. We also offer more advanced courses occasionally; please send us an e-mail for more information.
Level 1. Beginner. A1

Level 1. Beginner. A1
You will practice:
- Presenting yourself (name, origins, occupation and family)
- Greeting and small talk (how are you?, weather)
- Basic phrases useable when going out, shopping, finding your way, eat and drink, invitations, making plans.
- The alphabet
- Numbers
- Time (clock, weekdays, months)
- Verbs (modals, present and past)
- Cultural do’s and don’ts
- Scandinavian culture
Level 2. Elementary. A2
You will practice:
- Understanding sentences and frequently used expressions
- Communicating in simple language
- Understanding and discussing some easy topics using your own vocabulary
- Using present, future and past tense
- Getting to know more about everyday life (culture, society, national holidays, politics etc.) of the country which language you are learning
- Reading and discussing newspaper articles
Level 3. Intermediate. B1
You will practice:
- Participating in a (easy) conversation
- Understanding non-routine information
- Expressing opinions on abstract/cultural matters in a limited way or offer advice within a known area
- Picking up nuances of meaning/opinion
- Writing a CV and a motivational letter
- Answer a phone call, understand the purpose and take a message
